The island villas are largely very well-spaced, which does mean a bit of walking for those away from the restaurants/bars and anyone with mobility issues may find sand paths/steps prohibitive. They are beautiful inside and well provisioned. Including a torch, umbrellas and a good range of toiletries should you not bring your own. We had a superb time, in a wonderful environment. The staff throughout are as friendly/helpful/considerate as I have ever experienced (a particular shout-out is due to our room facilitator Oahab). The food offerings are great quality with much live/fresh preparation. We were there for two weeks and did not get in any way tired of the range of food offered although not as varied as some hotels. We went to the Thai restaurant once during our stay, the food was excellent but I would recommend the set menu as better value for money. The beaches are wonderful (although it can be quite steeply shelving into the sea) with coral reefing to the east (villas/deluxe villas) and some seagrass to the west (Lagoon/sunset villas). The types of snorkelling are very different depending on the side of the island and people will have their own preferences. As you can walk around the island in 20 minutes it is easy to do both. The ‘Jungle’ interior of the island gave a fantastic feeling of being totally away from it all in a ‘non-beach’ environment, whilst the beaches were only ever a few dozen yards away! Although the amount of animal species on the island is very limited, the ones there really have made it their own (we particularly enjoyed the fruit bats). We would recommend the sunset cruise (included in our stay) and the snorkelling with Manta Rays. There was entertainment most evenings but it is limited. There is a singer who moves between the restaurant and beach bar, beautiful voice. A Maldivian drumming group one evening, unfortunately also a Karaoke evening. Read Less

It is really hard to say what should be negative. I am actually not the fan of 2 weeks only relax on the beach, but this gorgeous island has convinced me. The white sand and the gorgeous blue sea give you exactly the relaxation it needs The entire staff is incredibly friendly! Especially I have to praise Mr Jegan. He took care of every little request. Also among the restaurant staff, one lady stood out with her great friendly manner and. We always picked the seats she served. Her name is Csiya. What I also found mega great is that Mr Sirah, the hotel manager, took the time to get to know guests and listen to their wishes and concerns. There was really no employee who was not friendly. I would also like to give special praise to the chefs. The food was just mega delicious!!! The fitness room was very well equipped. The spa area was heavenly. Also the dive team was very professional and helpful. To the rooms we can only say that everything was top and especially clean! Whether you Beach Bungalow or Water Bungalow is subjective to judge but both variants are super in their own way. We could not have imagined a better honeymoon. I have since deleted this review because management went Read MoreI would like to start this review by saying I posted a review about a week ago regarding drone use by some inconsiderate guests on Coco Palm. I have since deleted this review because management went above and beyond to resolve this issue and make us feel reassured it wouldn’t happen again..they stuck to their word and we didn’t see another drone so I thought it only fair that I remove the review. We have now returned from the most amazing holiday..the lagoon villa surpassed our expectations, I had read before arriving that the villas may require an upgrade but I have to say, for us, they were perfectly rustic, we spent most of our time in the villa and enjoyed every minute! The staff around the island are so friendly..every single member of staff we passed whilst walking around the island greeted us with a good morning/afternoon sir and madam..there are a few people we would like to personally thank for making our time on Coco Palm so memorable..Mumthaz who took care of our room and my family everyday..we travelled with a child who liked to empty the mini bar of orange juice, Mumthaz always made sure there was plenty which we found was a thoughtful touch. I would also like to give the chefs a shout out for providing such delicious food and restaurant waiters Siya, Nalinda and Ziyaau for greeting us with such warmth and making our mealtimes so special. We will be back to Coco Palm again because we had a perfect family holiday. Read Less
