It is the best place for anybody to spend their holiday and relax. The staff provided with unlimited service; with everything we want. They were all so nice and supportive and helped us every time. I would like to give another a big thank you to Upul who helped us arrange our seaplane ride to the resort which was filled with absolutely stunning sites, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The Receptionist Elisa was delightful for her to welcome us and introduce all the facilities available around the resort. All the food was flavorful and absolutely delicious and a big thank you to both SL chefs Fernando and Subash. The Head Waiter was very kind enough when introducing new Maldivian food for us to try and they were absolutely amazing. Every time, you see a staff member, they would smile and have a little conversation with you. My daughters had lots of opportunities when enjoying their time in the beach. Such as Snorkeling, Aquarium, Kayaking, stand up paddling and lot more. Another big thank you to all the SL staff at the water club who made sure my kids had their best time. Every night, they have organized something special for every guest like bingo nights, karaoke, Maldivian dinner and lot more. We had absolutely the best time ever, and I recommend highly to spend your holiday in a nice water villa that was surrounded by crystal, clear blue water. Finally, a huge thank you to HR manager Tyronne who made this magnificent in every way to us. We all want to thank him for giving us everything and also giving lots of opportunities for kids and I clearly saw that they were enjoying to the fullest. Our time at the island was amazing. Due to flight delay, we arrived very late, past dinner time, however the kitchen and service staff was waiting for us with hot meals (really nice surprise). Overall the staff at the bar & the restaurant was great and very helpful, big thank you to Mr. Rasheed for service, Mr Titu for great fish, and of course to Chief for putting together menus and meals (we stayed 10 days and not a single time we got bored of food) We stayed in beach bungalows on west side of the island. We witnessed wonderful sunsets, and the beach is just at your doorstep. The rooms was very tidy and clean, the bed was made up twice a day (once for the day, and prepared for the night). There are daily activities offered by the Water Sports so make sure to check them out as well! (As for instance snorkel tour of local reef, free of charge). There was even a dinner setup at the beach with some cocktails, which was a very nice touch to the whole experience. But now to the best part - the Maldivian sea. Of course you can stay in the room and enjoy the beach and the wonderful lagoon but if you don’t do at least some snorkeling on the local reef you are missing it out. Just after diving in to the water we’ve seen Eagle Rays, Turtles, White/Black Tip Sharks (the baby ones are right at the beach, and the bigger one on the reef) and on the last day there was a beautiful Manta few meters from our room. At this point we would also love to give a big shout out and thank you to Adam and Davide at iDive Diving Center - these guys are just amazing ! I’ve been to few diving centers around the world, but never have I encountered so friendly and great guys. We did fantastic dives together, had few good laughs and my fiancé did her PADI Open Water course - highly recommend you to take your time and visit them to go for some amazing excursions. What should you bring with you, you might ask.. well answer is simple - swimming suit. I barely even used my flip flops 😉 We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family, and hope to have chance to visit it again! Read Less

Special thanks goes to the both dive instructors Adam and Marco from the dive centre IDive for the unforgettable dives and the professional care. Another very, very big thank goes to Alessia and Miriam from the Marine Biologists Team, Marine Lab. Athuruga for their work and commitment to ensure that the coral world in the Maldives does not die. We were able to participate in their coral restoration project in contributing towards improving the health of the coral reefs. We would like to thank Alessia and Miriam for this great and unforgettable experience. We hope that when we return to Athuruga next year, the two ladies will continue to put their heart and soul into this project.
