From being welcomed by the warmest smiles and faces of the hotel staff, waving out to us from the seaplane, to going out of the way to make us feel comfortable, cared for, safe and entertained. There was something so remarkable about every day spent there. The waters are so clean, gorgeous and soothing. We literally spotted the cutest baby sharks swimming on our walk to the resort. The beautiful white sand, the scrumptious food, amazing drinks and so many venues in the resort offering a different vibe each to dine at was the cherry on the cake. What really stood out for me though was that l witnessed the most beautiful sunset of my life on the last day :) There was something so special about it that I can’t put into words. Despite the weather being rainy and us staying for only 2/3 days (I would recommend at least 4/5 days to fully enjoy the experience), we directly felt relaxed and peaceful. We have been assisted by Mulia who helped us preparing the trip - everything went as she suggested (even better) and she made herself available at any time prior to our arrival - thank you so much. Upon arrival, we have been amazed by being greeted by the staff members (and baby black tip sharks in the reef). Sandeepa took care of us going forward. He made us feel very special and made sure that our trip was perfect. Massive thanks to him. The resort is perfect for family but also for couples that are looking for a quite and beautiful area to relax. The food was great (you can find both local and international food) and the staff was very kind. The accommodation was perfect, especially the ocean pool villa. Unfortunately, it was rainy and we were not able to do aquatic activities as well as the sunset cruise. That will give us the excuse to come back as the area seemed quite interesting for marine life. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. 🦈 Magical Arrival: The arrival by seaplane was enchanting, and our welcome committee of reef sharks at the jetty set the tone for the adventure that awaited us. 🌅 Stunning Beachfront Villa: We stayed in a family beach villa, and it was a dream come true. Having direct access to the beach for our morning paddles was a highlight. Our children, aged 1 and 3, couldn't get enough of it. The family beach villas are double villas providing two beach villas connected by a hallway, we travelled with Grandma, so this was ideal space for us. 🎨 Creativity: Artscape became our haven for creativity and its not just for kids! The staff here were not only helpful but genuinely friendly. We had a blast making our own traditional dhonis and hand-painted creations. 🚤 Unforgettable Watersports: The watersports team was fantastic! We embarked on a breathtaking sunset cruise and an awe-inspiring manta snorkeling trip. They were incredibly welcoming to our little ones during the sunset cruise. 💆‍♀️ Maai Spa Serenity: The Maai Spa was a true sanctuary of relaxation. The Thai therapists made the experience even more special. 🍹 Ampers∧ Extravaganza: Ampers∧ provided a jaw-dropping backdrop for cocktails and the Amari Kite Festival, which our children absolutely loved. 🏥 Impressive Medical Care: On our last night, my partner had an accident and had to visit the island clinic. The response was nothing short of impressive. He was promptly attended to by a doctor and nurse who provided excellent care. 🌟 Above-and-Beyond Staff: Throughout our stay, several staff members stood out for their exceptional service. Sajid (who became Winnie's best friend on the island, probably because she thought she was driving the buggy!), Jerry (for the sunrise yoga), Najid and the team at Artscape were all sooo lovely, Samin (the solutions focused guy from Front Office), Lester (our villa host), and Khun Green (Thai chef) . Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and truly unforgettable - THANK YOU!!! Amari Raaya Maldives exceeded our expectations in every way. We were impressed by the nature surrounding villas. You can see the baby shark, little cute fish and birds pass by while you walk and swim. This resort maintain a high percentage of trees and make us feel connected with nature. Our facilities are super nice, high quality and details oriented. The sunset bar, swimming pool and its restaurants had amazed us. And the people, we were so happy to meet super nice and professional staff in Amari Raaya. A special thanks from us to the Chef Putu, Thai kitchen chef Kay, Italian food chef Golnaz who specialized our meal and brought us an fine dinning experience. We could not forget all the F&B team in Amaya restaurant and Ampers&nd restaurant, the ones who made our experience becoming great memories. And our host, Lester, very supportive and friendly. In general, Amari Raaya is indeed a worth visiting resort when visiting Maldives. It truly brights up your days in this paradise. Read Less
