The staff is excellent, very polite and kind. It starts with the restaurant where the chefs and the waiters create a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Some of them really make you feel like you naturally belong there. To mention a few: Shareef the main waiter at our table, in a positive sense crazy and funny as hell, with an eye for detail and an incomparable sense of humor. He made my day over and over again. Nihaa, a wonderful young lady and such an adorable sweetheart, very well educated and polite. I am not exaggerating that her warm attitude brought tears to my eyes. I will always remember the song she wrote for me… (So lonely :-)) And at the bar it is Nazeer who stands out. A true professional, kind, polite, very well mannered, heartfelt and reading every wish in your eyes. He made every evening and the Sunset Cruise a very special moment. This guy unites everything needed to climb up the professional ladder. Yes, they all work at the resort and all are happy to receive a tip but it feels like rewarding friends rather than tipping a staff member. We stayed in a water bungalow which Read MoreMy wife and I stayed for 12 nights after travelling from Manchester (England). 26hrs travelling but it was worth it! Excellent accommodation, food and service. We stayed in a water bungalow which was amazing and a must. The bungalow was kept spotless with daily cleans. We paid for the laundry service $53 USD for the duration of our stay which again is a must. We watched sharks, turtles, dolphins, numerous fish and rays from the sun area at the back of the bungalow. We ate in the restaurant solely for guests in the water bungalows and the food was excellent and always lots of choices. The chefs and waiters were friendly, engaging and funny. The dhoni boat trips were good, we saw dolphins and a green turtle on the dolphin cruise, didn’t catch anything on the sunrise fishing trip and caught one small skipjack tuna on the big game fishing trip. I would advice upgrading the fishing tackle for the big game fishing as each rod had an eye missing, there wasn’t enough line on the reels and invest in a few more lures. Although the weather was sometimes rainy it didn’t last long and the sun shone most the time. The snorkelling on the house reef was amazing. The resort is attempting to stop using plastic and they give you a personal metal water bottle to fill up when needed. Overall, a fantastic holiday and we’ll be back to stay again as soon as possible. Read Less
